Liner notes

Before the rift, before the horned helmets, before the devil learned their names, there was a dipstick, and it was low.

Check the Dipstick is the sound of five men in Bay 3 who have watched too many action movies and decided to become one. Cocaine jetski pursuits. Knife fights in hot tubs. A helicopter, suplexed. Every song ends with the band walking away from an explosion in slow motion, and none of them ever looks back, mostly because Rusty’s eleven pairs of aviators make looking back a safety hazard.

“We hath checked the dipstick, and lo, it was low. So we filled it with our rage.” — Lance Velour
